except whenever chuuya does get home, he'll smell food being cooked?? because baren just let himself in whenever he was done with work for the day.... and then he did his usual routine (even though he doesn't want to call it a routine) of cleaning up chuuya's notes, papers, putting away his knife if he left it around, and generally cleaning up his stupid bachelor pad
and now he's on the couch, reading, while whatever he made simmers on the stove
