[So actually he is not gathering as much dirt on Baren as he thought he would given the nature of this post, which sucks. It seems like the guy on the network is mad he got cool hair and needs to learn to love himself a little more. Which is fine, but Mista wanted to dunk on Baren.]
[Still, the post is kind of fun, so he's taking a couple minutes downtime at work to look through it again. He's totally forgotten that Baren's shift starts soon and Isn't Watching His Back At All . . .]
[The post is hilarious and Baren was happy to read it. He got a couple of laughs, some especially hearty ones at familiar faces who were ready to throw him under the bus. It was great, entertaining, and not an unfamiliar event. Baren has just as many haters as he does fans. He's the kind of person that you love or you hate.
Until it sparked an odd recollection of people who did nothing but hate.
Hate hate hate.
Burning hate with blazing fire, discarded trash, and cruel laughter.
When he walked into Majima's place, thinking to entertain a few girls for a bit to get his mind off of things, his usual easy-going grin is missing.
Then he catches sight of Mista, distracted and he peers over to get a glance of what he's looking at - and he catches glimpse of the post that started it all in the first place.
He rolls his eyes, leans in and blows on the back of Mista's neck just to give him a scare.]
[It makes him jump. If Baren had been a half an inch to the left, he'd have gotten a very startled elbow to the face. As it is, Mista turns on his heel with half-formed fists up before realizing . . . oh.]
It's just you. Jesus Christ, Baren.
[In a second here, he's gonna notice something's off. For now his eyes are just narrowed, suspicious and a little annoyed. He's used to Baren starting shit, so for the moment he's simply waiting for it.]
[Well - he can't help it. The fists make him grin even as he's already automatically taking a step two paces back. You don't start as much shit as Baren and still manage to keep your model job without knowing a thing or two about holding your own when it counts.
So his laugh is easy even as he lets his hands fall into his pockets.]

[It's like. Almost affectionate? It's some weird middle ground, because he doesn't actually want to punch Baren but also he sort of does, look it's complicated.]
